Linjiang Industrial Zone was founded on March, 2003 with a whole area of 160.2 square kilometers. It is located on the northeast part of Xiaoshan, south bank of Qiantang river. Linjiang Industrial Zone is of provincial level which was approved by state development and innovation committee. Besides, Linjiang is the “manufacturing base of auto spare parts in China” which was approved by China Auto Industrial Committee.
　　Linjiang is on the core area of the annular Hangzhou bay industrial belt, on the front position of the times change from “Westlake Time” to “Qiantang River Time”, Linjiang is not only an important area of the policy “develop alongside the Qiantang river, develop across the Qiantang river” which was executed by Hangzhou Municipality, but also a major part which composite Xiaoshan district’s “one port, four area” policy as well as the main platform of the 11th Five-year Schedule for industrial development.

　　Linjiang Industrial Zone bears unique advantages for development. Large space, few residents, smooth land, few removing issue, low business cost which seldom cannot be found in Hangzhou and Xiaoshan. Linjiang Industrial Zone bears unique 3-dimensional transportation advantage which include landway, seaway and airport. It is 12km to Xiaoshan international airport, 15minite to Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo expressway and Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou expressway, near Hangzhou round-city highway, airport highway. The only public sea port in Hangzhou area is at the east part of Linjiang.
The No.9 Qiantang river bridge has been constructed and the Qiantang channel is under construction. With completion of these two routes, Linjiang will become the “golden triangle” to Shanghai, Ningbo and Shaoxing.
　　 Linjiang puts 1.2 billion RMB into the infrastructure construction and forms the development frame. The road network and transportation network in the 22square kilometers start area is already formed, the Dongpian sewage discharge plant in Xiaoshan which daily treatment of 1million tons (300thousand tons/day for the first project) is operating now, a tapwater plant with daily supply of 1million tons is under construction, a sewage pumping station with daily treatment of 300 thousand tons is operating in Linjiang, we have complete pipeline network system of about 155km, 110kv Changzheng transformer substation, three telecommunication stations include China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom.
　　On the day May 8th, 2008, we started an infrastructure project called “1212” which means to construct 12 roads and 12 public facilities with a total investment of 1.258billion RMB.
　　Linjiang Industrial Zone is on the estuary of Qiantang river with good self-cleaning ability which make it a good place to build a ecotype, technological and environment-friendly industrial zone.
　　Linjiang bend itself to develop and innovate traditional advanced industries such as new type weaving, modern chemicals; develop pillar industries such as automobiles, auto spare parts, machinery, new material, sea industry, etc; incubate new and high-tech industries such as electronic information, biological pharmacy; develop modern service industries actively such as logistics, infrastructure for living and business.
　　Linjiang is aim to be the platform of Xiaoshan’s industry, a modern city in east of Hangzhou Municipal, the core area of the annular Hangzhou Bay industry belt and an significant manufacturing base on the south bank of Qiantang river.
